Introducing Turner Chiropractor, Dr Ben Schutte

After a surfboat injury in high school, Dr Schutte got such good results from chiropractic care that he set his sights on becoming a chiropractor.
“I was so impressed by the “hands-on” and drug-free approach to pain relief and ongoing maintenance of health that I decided then and there I wanted to be a chiropractor,” says Dr Schutte.
Dr Schutte completed an honours science degree at the Australian National University and worked for some time as a laboratory technician before undertaking the five-year chiropractic degree at Phillip Institute of Technology (now RMIT University) in Melbourne. Courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Institute’s public clinics.
“Each year,” continues Dr Schutte, “the staff and I attend various seminars to keep up with the latest in research and newest developments in the chiropractic profession. That keeps our skills in top form.” He has recently completed seminars in paediatric care, in chiropractic analysis and care of extremity problems such as shoulder, elbow, hand, TMJ, hip, knee, ankle and foot, and in treatment of adhesions between the spinal cord and the spinal column (Advanced Biostructural Correction). Dr Schutte is also a certified practitioner of Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), which helps resolve long-standing health problems that have an emotional component.
Dr Schutte has helped hundreds of patients regain their health during his years of practice since 1989, in Forster, Tumut, Holland, and, since 2002, at Canberra Chiropractic.
Introducing Turner Chiropractor, Dr Joshua Shea

Dr Shea can’t remember a time when chiropractic wasn’t part of his life.
He received his first adjustments from a chiropractor who was a close family friend, and grew up understanding the correlation between good spinal health and feeling great. He decided that he too would be a chiropractor one day.
Dr Shea was born in Canberra and grew up in Queensland. He studied for five years at Macquarie University, graduating with a Masters degree in Chiropractic. Dr Shea moved back to Canberra, where he has been practising in Woden. As well as his general practice, Dr Shea has been involved in chiropractic work with sporting teams and the Brain Injury Foundation.
Dr Shea is married to Hannah. In his spare time, he enjoys anything to do with the outdoors – motor bikes, basketball and anything to do with the water, particularly fishing and sailing.
